Sunday, March 18 • St. Patrick's Day Parade — 58th Annual!

Thursday-Sunday, May 10-13 • Spring Downtown Diva Weekend
The perfect girl’s getaway! Whether you have an hour, a day or a weekend, there’s something for everyone. This weekend is filled with fashion, pampering, and the “must haves” of the season. Enjoy Cocktails in the City with an accessories fashion show and the famous Diva Delight cocktail. Fashion & French Toast, combining a runway fashion show with a delicious buffet breakfast, takes place Saturday morning. A special way to spend time with friends and your mom during Mother’s Day weekend.

Thursday, May 23 • Apps & Ales
Following all the traditions of Bay City’s famous Wine Walk, this event highlights all of Downtown’s delicious eateries and pubs. Attendees will enjoy a night full of great appetizers, specialty brews and music in the streets!

Bay City is known throughout the state for our fireworks festivities which is one of the largest displays in the Midwest! Every Friday Evening, July 13 - August 24 • Fridays at the Falls
Join friends and neighbors from 6 to 7ish pm every Friday evening (weather permitting) at the Third Street Waterfall Park for some casual, summertime entertainment — magic, music and more! Bring a lawn chair or just pause for a while and enjoy some of the "Best of the Bay!” Admission is free, donations accepted.

The sounds of musical entertainment around every corner add to the pleasure of strolling historic Downtown Bay City on a beautiful fall evening.

Bay County Historical Society Tour of Homes allows you to step inside some of the most beautiful homes and buildings in historic Bay City. With a new slate of homes every year, and free shuttle service between locations. Tickets and locations are normally available in September. www.bchsmuseum.org

November 11 thru December 16 • Sundays in the City
The six Sundays leading up to Christmas showcase all of the “one-of-a-kind” shops and eateries that Downtown Bay City has to offer. The chance to win the Sleigh of Gifts and one of the Festival of Wreaths add to the activities. Holiday decorations, free horse-drawn carriage rides, strolling carolers, and holiday movies at the historic State Theatre make this a family event and truly a Holiday to remember.

Friday, November 23 • Santa's Arrival!
Another Bay City holiday tradition continues with the arrival of Santa to Downtown’s Wenonah Park at 7:00 p.m., the day after Thanksgiving. A special program takes place at the Friendship Shell leading up to the grand entrance by Santa and Mrs. Claus. And all the good little boys and girls are invited to visit with Santa immediately following the program at the Delta College Planetarium.
