Indulge • Saturday, February 13
Come to Downtown Bay City to beat the mid-Winter blues with a day of special indulgences, including a celebration of all things chocolate! Our restaurants and shops will serve up a variety of specials and treats that you can "indulge" in to break the winter doldrums! St. Patricks Day Parade — 56th Annual! • Sunday, March 21
The parade begins at 2:00 pm at Center and Park Avenues and ends at Wenona Park. Join us for this annual celebration of everything Irish! A great way to welcome Spring!

Spring Restaurant Week • Monday-Sunday, April 12-18
NEW in 2010 — Downtown Bay City Restaurant Week! Have you been wanting to try a Downtown restaurant? Now's your chance! Visit participating eateries in our Downtown area and check out their $6, $12, and $24 specials all week long. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner specials.

Spring Downtown Divas Weekend • Thursday-Sunday, May 6-9
Join us for a celebration of women — art, fashion, girl-talk, shopping, dining, movies
— all kinds of fun activities. A great Mother's Day gift or a get-away for grandmoms, moms and daughters — or any group of girlfriends! Friday evening is Cocktails in the City at the Boathouse with an accessories fashion show and the famous Diva Delight cocktail! Fashion & French Toast combines a fashion show with a delicious buffet breakfast on Saturday morning at the Atrium.

37th Annual YWCA Riverside Art Festival • Saturday-Sunday, June 12 & 13

Be Cool Car Show • Saturday, July 10
See over 350 specialty vehicles, mustangs, hot rods, antiques, customs and motorcycles on display throughout downtown Bay City. Proceed benefit the American Cancer Society.

Downtown Sidewalk Days • Thursday-Saturday, July 22-24
Downtown Bay City Sidewalk Days have been a tradition for more than 50 years! Enjoy more than just great sales — special activities and entertainment are planned!

Tall Ships Celebration • Thursday-Saturday, July 15-18
Come to Michigan's "Port of Call," — Downtown Bay City — to view and visit these majestic sailing vessels. This maritime festival is four days of affordable, family fun brimming with interactive experiences, international maritime musicians, fabulous Tall Ships and much more. Fridays at the Falls • Every Friday Evening, July 9 - August 27
Join friends and neighbors around 6 to 7 pm every Friday evening this summer (weather permitting) at the Third Street Waterfall Park for some evening entertainment — magic, music and more! Bring a lawn chair or just pause for a while and enjoy some of the "Best of the Bay" entertainment. Admission is Free, donations accepted.

Haunted Temple • Last three weekends in October
Take a walk throught the Haunted Historic Masonic Temple! This special event is a fundraiser for the restoration and operation of this beautiful historic builiding located at 700 N. Madison Ave. Event includes walking through the multi-level building to encounter the ghosts and goblins who live there. May not be suitable for children under the age of eight. Sundays in the City • November 14 thru December 19

Mingle & Jingle: Downtown Gives Back • Thursday, November 18
Get into the holiday spirit by giving back to the community during this special fundraising event. Mingle & Jingle asks holiday shoppers to do what they love to do … shop and dine! Participating Downtown Bay City establishments donate a percentage of their total sales for this one special evening to a participating non-profit organization of their customer's choice. It's all about people coming Downtown to "mingle" with their neighbros and help put some "jingle" in the hands of some very helpful, local organizations!

Santa's Arrival! • Friday, November 26
Santa Claus arrives the day after Thanksgivign to his local home in Wenonah Park in Downtown Bay City! Young and old guide him in with flashlights as he flies in on his sleigh and then visit him in his special home away from the North Pole. Hundreds of children are invited to visit with Santa immediately following the program at the Delta College Planetarium. A great way to celebrate the beginning of the Christmas holiday season!
